An eminent educationist and academic leader, Mr. Jatinder Kumar brings over three decades of experience in teaching, academic leadership and school administration. His professional journey reflects a deep commitment to academic excellence, institutional development and holistic education.
He holds M.Com., LL.B. and B.Ed. degrees, along with an M.Ed. in School Administration and an M.Tech. in Educational Technologies, bringing together a strong academic foundation, administrative expertise and an understanding of technology-enabled education.
Mr. Kumar began his career at Punjab Public School, Nabha, followed by 23 years at Yadavindra Public School, Patiala, where he held significant responsibilities, including Academic Coordinator (Senior Wing), Head of the Commerce Department and House Master. He taught Commerce, Economics and Accountancy to Classes XI and XII and led the Commerce Department for 25 years, contributing to curriculum development, academic planning and teacher mentoring.
He took up his first appointment as a Principal of a CBSE school in 2017 and joined Delhi Public School, Bathinda, as Principal in December 2020. He continues to lead the institution with an emphasis on academic rigour, value-based education and continuous institutional improvement.
Recognising his academic experience, he has been appointed as a CBSE Resource Person, conducting teacher training programmes aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP). He also serves as City Coordinator for NTA Examinations and assistant CBSE City Coordination of the City.
