On 23 October,2026 Delhi Public School Bathinda, organised its Annual Sports Meet for students of Classes II–V with great enthusiasm and sporting spirit.

The event commenced with the presentation of saplings to the distinguished guests by Principal Mr. J. K. Saini. The meet was formally declared open with a Balloon-release ceremony, followed by a welcome address by the Principal and a motivational song.

The occasion was graced by Mr. Rajiv Chhabra, DEO (Secondary), Bathinda; Mr. Chamkaur Singh, Deputy DEO (Secondary); Mr. Jasvir Singh, Deputy DEO (Elementary); and distinguished Principals of various playway schools.

The young participants displayed remarkable energy and sportsmanship in a variety of track events, including 100-metre races, book-balancing races, hurdle races, three-legged races, sack race, drag the ball, cone-pyramid challenges, and relay races. A delightful motivational presentation by Class II students and a musical-chair fun game for parents added to the excitement.

The celebrations culminated in a vibrant Bhangra performance, followed by the distribution of medals to the winners. Dr. Anusandeep Kaur coordinator proposed the vote of thanks expressing gratitude to the guests, parents, staff, and students for making the event a success. The Sports Meet concluded on a joyful note, celebrating fitness, teamwork, perseverance, and the true spirit of sportsmanship.
