The students of Delhi Public School Bathinda wholeheartedly engaged in diverse activities on April 22, 2024, to honor Mother Earth. In celebration of Earth Day, a range of imaginative endeavors were organized by The Department of Geology at Central University of Punjab, Bathinda to raise awareness among children about natural resource conservation and inspire them to contribute towards enhancing the beauty of our planet.

The event featured enlightening lectures by esteemed scientists, captivating model presentations by students of grades VIII to XII, a geological exhibition, an Earth Day logo competition, and a departmental poster showcase. This year’s Earth Day theme, “Planet v/s Plastics,” inspired the students to creatively align their ideas with the program’s focus. DPS students secured 1st & 3rd Place in Poster Presentation and 2nd & 3rd Place in Model Presentation.
