Once again, in the history of DPS Bathinda, the illustrious 6th edition of the Model United Nations event, titled ‘MUN Consortium’23’, unfolded its grandeur on the 26th and 27th of August in the year 2023. The commencement was graced by an eminent assembly comprising more than 10 esteemed educational institutions, alongside an impressive congregation of 210 delegates. This collective gathering resoundingly reiterated our unwavering dedication to the core principles underpinning the consortium—diplomacy, empathy, and the exchange of intellectual prowess.

Dignitaries, Advisors, and Esteemed Guests hailing from diverse schools and regions converged at Consortium’23. The conference’s overarching theme, “Progresses per Colloquium,” which translates to Progress through Dialogue, beautifully encapsulates the very essence of our shared endeavor.

This remarkable convergence of insightful deliberations fostered the creation of new bonds, paving the way for constructive metamorphosis. Every delegate enriched the conference’s esteemed atmosphere, representing a tapestry of youth from various cities and states, actively participating in a range of committees and cultural engagements.

The esteemed inaugural guest, Mr. Sudheer Singh Verma, Assistant Professor at the Department of South and Central Asian Studies, Central University of Punjab, Bathinda, lent his academic finesse and profound comprehension of international relations, infusing the occasion with gravitas. The valedictory session was graced by the esteemed presence of Honorable Ms. Harsimrat Kaur Badal, MP from Bathinda, who lauded the students for their exceptional presentation and shared words of encouragement. She also felicitated the outstanding delegates from each committee.

Principal Jatinder Kumar Saini extended his sincere gratitude to the Chief Guest, Executive Board, Advisors, Educators, and the dedicated student cohort, whose relentless efforts culminated in the realization of this remarkable MUN event.
