2023-24

  • IMO: 45 students got the Gold Medal of Excellence and 9 students got the Medal of Distinction award in the International Mathematics Olympiad.
  • NSO: 33 students got the Gold Medal of Excellence and 7 students got the Medal of Distinction award in the National Science Olympiad.
  • ISSO: 11 students got the Gold Medal of Excellence and 13 students got the Medal of Distinction award in the International Social Studies Olympiad.
  • IEO: 41 students got the Gold Medal of Excellence and 1 student got the Medal of Distinction award in the International English Olympiad.
  • IGKO: 22 students got the Gold Medal of Excellence and 2 students got the Medal of Distinction award in the International General Knowledge Olympiad.
  • NCO: 10 students got the Gold Medal of Excellence and 11 students got the Medal of Distinction award in the National Cyber Olympiad.
  • IHO: 11 students got the Gold Medal, 22 students got Silver Medal and 15 students got Bronze Medal in International Hindi Olympiad.
  • ICO: 6 students got the Gold Medal in the International Commerce Olympiad.
  • 22 students received the merit certificates in GREEN Olympiad (An initiative of TERI (The Energy and Resource Institute)
  • Mayank Bansal of grade 8 secured 2nd position in the North Zone at the National Level in Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM).
  • Aakarsh D. Reja has achieved All India Rank 64 in JEE (Mains) and 489 Rank in JEE(Advanced).
  • Deepakshi made the school proud by scoring625/720 in NEET-2023.
  • DPS Bathinda has been Ranked Number 1 School in Bathinda for three consecutive years i.e. 2021-22, 2022-23 & 2023-24 and 3rd in Punjab twice i.e. 2022-23 & 2023-24 by Education World India Rankings Survey 2023-24.
  • DPS Bathinda has been selected as the “ATL School of the Month” by Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) for the month of June-2023 and March-2024.
  • DPS Bathinda Secures First Place in Technology-Based Quiz Competition in the Tech-Sprint, The Techfest organised jointly by LPU and DPS Jalandhar.
  • DPS Bathinda secured Second position at the Literary Festival organised by DPS Pathankot.

 

Debate:

  • State Level Debate: Organized by the Central University for school students: DPS student was adjudged as the best speaker out of 110 students who participated from different schools.
  • General Gurnam School Public School Sangrur organized inter-school 3 rounds debate in which 8 schools from all over Punjab Participated. DPS Team was adjudged the runners up team and bagged the 2nd
  • DPS Bathinda hosted an inter-school debate at the Regional Level, in which 14 teams participated. The school team secured the second position.
  • DPS Bathinda secured First position in the Inter-School Debate Competition (Hindi) hosted by The Millennium School Bathinda

 

MUN : Regional level: Organized by:

  • DPS Bathinda, hosted an inter-school MUN, and 5 delegates of DPS received prizes for different positions (2 as best delegates, 2 for special mention, 1 for best position paper).
  • DPS Patiala: 5 students received certificates of commendation
  • Wisdom Global School, Haridwar: 2 students were adjudged the “Best Delegates” and one student received the award for “Best Photographer” in the media cell of the conference.
  • DPS Bathinda delegates secured 8 awards in the Model United Nations (MUN) organised by St. Xavier’s School, Bathinda.
  • DPS Bathinda delegates secured 9 awards in the Model United Nations (MUN) organised by St. Joseph School, Bathinda.

Youth Parliament: District Level: Organized by the Central University for school students: 2 students won the position, Best Parliamentarian of Lok Sabha, and Best Delegate Award.

 

Music:

  • National Level: 6 students participated in a National Level Inter School Folk Song Competition organized by Suchitra Academy International School, Hyderabad, under AFS India. The team won the First Position.
  • District Level : In another District level Group Song competition, organized by Bharat Vikas Parishad, Bathinda chapter, the team of DPS Bathinda was placed Third position.

 

Art:

  • Students of DPS Bathinda participated in the Distt. Level Social media/India Heritage Festival (Inter-School) competition, two of the students got the 1st and the 3rd
  • Poster making competition organized by the Central Univerisity for school students, on Earth Day, the school students won the first position
  • Shobha Singh Art Society organized an art promotion exhibition and a theme based poster making competition, DPS students won the first and the third position with cash prize of Rs. 1000 each.

 

Cultural Events:

  • National Level: AFS inter School Activity on the topic “World that eats together, grows together” for students of classes VIII to XII, DPS Bathinda participants were the

Inter School Cultural events (Dance, Poetry Recitation, Painting, just a minute etc.): Hosted by St. Xavier School, Bathinda: DPS School won the overall trophy for winning in the Maximum events.

2022-23

IMO: 40 students got the Gold Medal of Excellence and 11 students got the Medal of Distinction award in International Mathematics Olympiad.

IEO: 30 students got the Gold Medal of Excellence and 4 students got the Medal of Distinction award in International English Olympiad.

NSO: 28 students got the Gold Medal of Excellence and 6 students got the Medal of Distinction award in National Science Olympiad.

ISSO: 8 students got the Gold Medal of Excellence and 1 student got the Medal of Distinction award in International Social Studies Olympiad. Also, Arni Bandyopadhyay of Class-X got Zonal Silver Medal.

IGKO: 2 students got the Gold Medal of Excellence and 1 student got the Medal of Distinction award in International General Knowledge Olympiad.

2nd Level Olympiads: 

  • Akshit Garg of Class VIII got the Medal of Distinction award in the National Cyber Olympiad.
  • Aratrika Ghosh of Class-XII got Zonal Gold Medal and gifts worth Rs. 5000/- in 2nd level of International English Olympiad.
  • Mayank Bansal of Class-VII got Certificate of Zonal Excellence and gifts worth Rs. 500/- in 2nd level of National Science Olympiad and International Mathematics Olympiad.
  • Levish Garg of Class-VIII and Yajat Singhal of Class-IX got Certificate of Zonal Excellence and gifts worth Rs. 500/- in 2nd level of International Mathematics Olympiad.
  • Keshav Mittal of Class-X got Zonal Gold Medal and gifts worth Rs. 2500/- in 2nd level of International Mathematics Olympiad
  • 2 students got the Gold Medal of Excellence and 1 student got the Medal of Distinction award in International General Knowledge Olympiad.

2021-22

  • Krish Singla and Gurnoor Singh, who earlier cracked NTSE Level 1, has finally cracked the National Talent Search Examination Level 2 also, the most prestigious examination of India conducted for Std X students. The Govt. of India is awarding a Scholarship of 15,000 in 11th and 12th Std and Rs. 30,000 in Undergraduate and Post-Graduate Program for NTSE Scholars.
  • DPS has got the National Operator License to run IAYP programme for adolescents for their holistic growth. Students will have the opportunity to achieve internationally accredited three levels of the award – Bronze, Silver and Gold.
  • DPS ranked no. 1 school of Bathinda and 4th in Punjab by Education World India Rankings Survey 2021.
  • DPS participated in various Inter-School events organized by St. Xavier Senior Secondary School, on 26th and 27th of Nov 2021. Five teams secured top positions.
  • Delhi Public School, Bathinda feels immense pleasure in announcing that Ms. Sukhmani Kaur Dhillon of Class 1 secured Silver Medal in Punjab State Roller Skating Championship in age group (7-9 Years).
  • Naira Kathuria brought laurels to the school by winning the State-level Chess Championship. She is one of the youngest members of the Chess Federation of India and the youngest ever to win a state-level championship. She has qualified for the Asian Games by accruing 3.5 points; the qualifying points are 3.

SOF International General Knowledge Olympiad (IGKO):

  • 5 students got Gold Medal of Excellence and participation certificate.
  • 4 students got Medal and certificate of distinction.

SOF International English Olympiad (IEO):

  • Sushaan Gulati (Class-4) and Akshit Garg (Class-7) got a Medal and Certificate of distinction.
  • Cheshta Sharma (Class-4) got International Bronze Medal and certificate of outstanding performance.
  • Aratrika Ghosh (Class-11) got Zonal Gold Medal and certificate of zonal excellence.
  • Mayank Bansal (Class-6) got Zonal Silver Medal and certificate of zonal excellence.
  • 23 students got Gold Medal of Excellence and participation certificate.

SOF National Science Olympiad (NSO):

  • Oreshi Mondal (Class-3), Hardik Sardana (Class-4), Mayank Bansal (Class-6), Anshika Tiwari (Class-9), Abhinav Sharma (Class-9) and Arni Bandyopadhyay (Class-9) got a Medal and Certificate of distinction.
  • Ananya (Class-3) got Zonal Bronze Medal and certificate of zonal excellence.
  • Enakshi Rakshit (Class-9) got Zonal Silver Medal and certificate of zonal excellence.
  • 18 students got Gold Medal of Excellence and participation certificate.

2020-21

  • The school has received the prestigious award “International Dimension in Schools” under the aegis of the British Council consecutively for the second time for 2020-2023.
  • Our student, Vihaan Gulati (Class-6) has secured the first position in the Bathinda district, in the contest “Ambassadors of Hope”
  • Avreet Singh and Shovit Bansal of Class-VI secured the Third position at the district level in Children’s Science Congress. They were also selected for State Level Children’s Science Congress.
  • Jyotsana Priya (Class-5), Bhavya Ralhan (Class-5), Tanav Jindal (Class-6) and Tikshan Garg (Class-6) are the district toppers and got Medal of Excellence in National Assessment for Scientific Temperament and Aptitude – NASTA 2020, an initiative of CSIR- NISTADS.
  • Shreyashi Manna (Class-10) won Best Delegate in UNGA and Jesus Goyal (Class-12) won the High Commendation award in WHO and Best Position Paper Award in SXMUN-2020.

SOF International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO):

  • Tanush Arya (Class-3) got Zonal Silver Medal and Zonal Excellence Certificate along with gifts worth Rs. 1000/-.
  • Mayank Bansal (Class-5) got an International Silver Medal and Certificate of outstanding performance along with gifts worth Rs. 1000/-.
  • Raghav Aeron (Class-3) got a Medal and Certificate of distinction along with gifts worth Rs. 500/-.
  • Tanish (Class-3) and Lakshya Garg (Class-11) got Zonal Gold Medal and certificate of zonal excellence along with gifts worth Rs. 1000/-.
  • 22 students got Gold Medal of Excellence and participation certificate.
  • 7 students got Medal and certificate of distinction.

SOF International Science Olympiad (ISO):

  • Mayank Bansal (Class-5) got an International Bronze Medal and Certificate of outstanding performance along with gifts worth Rs. 1000/-.
  • 15 students got Gold Medal of Excellence and participation certificate.
  • 3 students got Medal and certificate of distinction.

SOF International English Olympiad (IEO):

  • Hardik Sardana (Class-3) got a Medal and Certificate of distinction along with gifts worth Rs. 500/-.
  • Dhruv Grover (Class-3) got an International Silver Medal and Certificate of outstanding performance along with gifts worth Rs. 1000/-.
  • Mayank Bansal (Class-5) got Zonal Silver Medal and Zonal Excellence Certificate along with gifts worth Rs. 1000/-.
  • Aratrika Ghosh (Class-10) got Zonal Silver Bronze and Zonal Excellence Certificate along with gifts worth Rs. 1000/-.

2019-20

PRMO: Aakarsh D.Reja of IX has qualified for the regional Mathematical Olympiad examination conducted by Homi Bhabha Centre for science.

NTSE LEVEL-2:Tushar Chandra has qualified level 2 of NTSE, He will get a scholarship worth Rs.15, 000 per annum till senior secondary and Rs.24, 000 per annum till higher studies.

ASSET EXAM: The number of students that qualified for Asset level 2 has increased to 62 which was 19 last year.

NTSE LEVEL-1: Chetansi of Class X Qualified level -1 of NTSE

DPS OLYMPIAD: Gautam Goyal (Inter DPS rank -246) and Krish Singla (Inter DPS rank -105). Krish Singla Qualified level-2 of SMTE DPS Olympiad.

2018-19

NTSE – 2018-19: Five students Abhinav Gupta, Kshitij Dhiman, Kapil Kumar, Shendge Shreya Sachin, Tushar Chandra from class X cleared the first round of NTSE conducted by the Government of India. The school secured the first position in district Bathinda. It got the fourth rank among all the schools in Punjab.

 IEO: Awalnoor Singh Brar of Class 8 has got the medal of distinction with Zonal Rank- 15 and International Rank- 94. Hardamanpreet Kaur of Class 11 has got the medal of distinction with Zonal Rank- 22 and International Rank- 113

NSO: Niaamit Goyal of Class 4 has got the medal of distinction with Zonal Rank- 17 and International Rank- 63. Saanvi Gera of Class 5 has got the medal of distinction with Zonal Rank- 7 and International Rank-51

IMO: Gautam Goyal of Class VIII B has got the medal of distinction with an International Rank- 116. Rashi Goel of Class IX B has got the medal of distinction with International Rank- 78. Lakshay Garg of Class IX C has got the medal of distinction with an International Rank- 73

PRMO: Keshav Singla of X C has qualified for the regional Mathematical Olympiad examination conducted by Homi Bhabha Centre for science.

OTHERS: 2nd Prize in Kite Flying Competition orgranised by City administration held in the month of Feb. 2019. 7 Prizes in different categories at Shobha Singh memorial Art Competition held in Nov. 2018. 5 students were adjudged best delegates in various Inter School MUN, 8 special mentions, 12 verbal mentions, 1 special mention in International Press

2017-18

  • The school has been bestowed with International School Award by British Council for the tenure 2017-2020.
  • Bagged First position in Inter DPS solo song in July-2017.
  • Best School award and four other prizes in Model United Nation Conference at Cambridge school Amritsar in August-2017.
  • Won consolation prize in Inter-school solo song competition at Public library in August-2017.
  • 8 students participated in the “National Children Science Congress” and secured 2ndposition at the Zonal & District Level in December-2017.
  • 7 Students of Class IV and V have qualified level 1 of asset exam with a percentile of more than 90 in asset talent search in December-2016.
  • Abhinav Gupta of Class IX has qualified for level-2 of the DPS Olympiad securing an international Rank–207.
  • 26 students qualified for level-2 of the International English Olympiad: Gold-42, Silver-44, Bronze-43, and Medal of Distinction-15. Zoya of Class 1-B has got a gift worth Rs.1000/- along with a certificate of distinction.

2016-17

  • 6 students participated in Science Drama Competition and secured the first position at District Level and 2nd position at Zonal Level in November-2016.
  • Karan Jain (Rank–28) & Karuna Jain (Rank–538) of Class IX qualified in Level-1 of Inter DPS Science and Maths Olympiad in November-2016.
  • 5 students participated in the “National Children Science Congress” and secured 3rd position at District Level in November-2016.
  • Lakshay Garg participated in UCMAS (International ABACUS Competition) held in Dubai on Nov 1, 2016, and became Grand Champion by clearing the 6th level. 56 countries had participated in this event.
  • Pranjal Aggarwal (Class-VII) & Aaryaman (Class-VIII) secured 1st position in Inter DPS Technical Festival in July-2016.

2015-16

  • Bagged the second position in Bournvita Quiz in the city round.
  • Hosted the quiz of the local Sahodaya Chapter and the Team got the 2nd position.
  • Divisha Gupta got through the finals of national talent search examinations held in May 2015.
  • NTSE: Two students qualified for the second round and one student received the scholarship
  • ASSET: Karuna Jain got through the 2nd level.
  • NSO: Akshat Kansal got through the 2nd round and achieved 6th Rank- in the state.
  • IMO: Karan Jain got through the 2nd round with state Rank–6.
  • IEO: Tanmay Garg of Class-3 got State Rank- 17 and Gold Medal of Excellence. Aryan Bhardwaj of Class-9 got State Rank- 7 and Gold Medal of Excellence

2014-15
