“College Access Programme”, a unique initiative of the DPS Society for students of Classes XI and XII

Education in DPS Bathinda is not only restricted to teaching the core subjects but extends to guidance and counselling of students at each grade of their academic journey, classes X and XII top the list as the students move to much delicate decisions about their career advancement. DPS Schools as members of DPS Society, New Delhi, started a unique “ College Access Programme 2023-24, aimed at equipping students with comprehensive knowledge and guidance for higher education pursuits. Through a series of webinars, the program offered invaluable insights into the intricate admission processes of both foreign and domestic universities. These sessions elaborated on timelines, requirements, and strategies essential for successful applications, and scholarship schemes for admissions in foreign and domestic universities.

What sets this initiative apart is its holistic approach, addressing not just the technicalities of admissions but also fostering informed decision-making regarding future career pathways. Topics included SAT, IELTS, and admissions in the UK, USA, Canada, Australia etc

As a follow-up of this initiative, DPS Bathinda has set up a much-desired career guidance cell within the campus, to extend support to students. The teacher in-charge Mrs. Meenakshi Chaudhary attended all the sessions with students to help students follow up with the admission process.
